A 4-piece blues/R&B/swing/Rock n’ Roll band, Bad Luck Woman and Her Misfortunes is Raha on bass and vocals, along with Fraser Melvin on guitar and vocals, Andrew Moljgun on sax and organ, and Jonathan Hyde on drums. Soulpepper Concert series
Raha has performed as featured singer, violinist, and bass player, in past performances of 27 Club and Riverboat, with upcoming performances in 88 Keys, Promised Land, and a remount of Riverboat.

As a violinist, Raha plays in the Double Cuts, Zuze, and Woodshed Orchestra regularly. She has also performed and/or recorded with Stars, Peter Katz, Protest the Hero, Daniel Romano, Kayla Howran, Matt Morgan, Sarah Jane Scouten, Tom Wilson, Mark Martyre, Scott Helman, and others.
She has attended the Tafelmusik Baroque Summer Institute at the University of Toronto, as well as Mark O’Connor’s String Program at Berkeley University.
Looking for music for your ceremony, cocktail hour, and/or reception dance party? Raha’s various musical projects can fulfill any of these, with various solo/duo/trio arrangements for acoustic music, and 4 to 10-pc bands for reception dance music.
Raha’s students in violin, piano, and theory have achieved high standards of music education, participating in RCM examinations with high grades, student recitals, and workshops. Her deep passion for teaching and infinite patience with students makes the experience a truly unique and special opportunity for the students.
